Bereavement Support Groups
Widowed Persons Outreach offers both a twice-monthly ongoing support group and a twice a year six-week structured bereavement group for persons who have been widowed for two years or less.
Educational Seminars
We offer educational seminars on topics that are relevant to those who are widowed and the services available to them.
One-on-one Mentor Volunteers
Trained volunteers, who have themselves been widowed, are available to help the newly bereaved, individually or as part of a Bereavement Support Group.
Newsletter
Bi-monthly information that addresses the needs of widowed persons and a calendar of educational, social and support activities.
Special Events
These include monthly luncheons, films and other outings.
Volunteer Training
